Should you buy Windows 7 right now?

Before you spend your hard earned money, we'd suggest you not purchase Windows 7 quite yet. When new technology products come out, about 70% of the time they will have bugs. We've seen it with Apple Computers, cell phones, strollers, and toys. Even some cars have been called back.

With operating systems, the biggest bugs deal with security. The last thing we want you to do is buy something that can leave your data vulnerable to theft or attack. Also, if you work with special equipment (i.e. video, music, plotters, etc.), hardware compatibility issues can bring production to a halt.

The usual rule of thumb is waiting at least six months. Unless a big problem arises where everyone waits for a fix. A big example of this was Service Pack 1 for Windows XP.

Of course, this is only a suggestion. If you have any questions, leave us a comment. Take care.
